01 — The ConceptGarden pastels, grown up
The venue does half the work: black marble tables, white bentwood chairs, blue-and-white rattan café chairs, warm wood shelving, and good lighting. Instead of covering that up with a "baby shower kit," we layer a wildflower-garden palette on top of it — lavender, butter yellow, sage, blush, and a cornflower blue that deliberately echoes the rattan chairs. Pink appears as one voice in the chorus, not the theme.
Option B — the bright wildflower version
Same layout, same purchases, bolder color. Swap the pastel felt-daisy garlands for the bright multicolor 5-pack (hot pink / marigold / blue / white) you screenshotted, choose the punchier stems at the flower market (zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, cornflower, hot-pink ranunculus), and go marigold on the candles. Everything else in the plan is identical — the two palettes are interchangeable up to the moment you buy garlands and flowers.
How to choose: pastels photograph softer and feel more "brunch"; brights feel more festive and hold their own in the venue's warm, dim-ish lighting. If you're torn: pastel garlands on the wall, bright flowers in the vases — the cream cakes and gauze bridge the two beautifully.

Verdicts on every element in your screenshots folder, graded against "floral, colorful, elevated, not trope-y."
Felt daisy garlands (pastel, on twine)
The best thing in your folder. Dimensional, handmade-feeling, exactly the palette, and reusable in the nursery afterward. Get 2–3 of the pastel pink/yellow/lavender version to swag above the cake table.
"Oh Baby Baby" pastel letter garland + shapes
The chicest wording option you shortlisted — playful, quiet colors, no burlap. Hang the letters above the cake table with the daisy garlands; run the stars/hearts strand along the photo ledge.
Fabric & paper flower garlands (liberty-print / big-bloom style)
Pick one — the liberty-print fabric garland is the most elevated. Drape it flat along the front edge of the cake table like a floral swag. Don't buy all three; they compete.
Your 16 glass bud vases
They're the backbone of the floral plan (Section 4). The mixed bottle shapes are a feature — clustered in threes they look collected, not bought.
Vintage embossed bud vase set (14 pc)
Worth it: takes you to 30 vessels so every guest seat sits near flowers, and the pressed-glass texture reads antique-shop, not banquet-hall. (~$26)
Glass pedestal cake stands
Yes — two, at different heights if possible. A plain bakery cake on a glass pedestal with fresh flowers instantly looks like a $200 cake (Section 5).
Meri Meri flower-bouquet cake topper
The paper bouquet with gold fringe is elegant and floral — perfect for the "main" cake. Skip adding pom-poms to the same cake; one idea per cake.
Woodland animals cake topper set
Genuinely charming and it's the right palette, but it introduces a second theme (woodland). Use it only if you want the second cake to be the "whimsy" cake; otherwise top cake #2 with fresh flowers for $0.
Baby confetti scatter (sage / gold / pink)
Right colors, and the leaf shapes are pretty — but scatter migrates onto brunch plates and restaurant floors. If you use it, confine it to the cake and gift tables only.
Watercolor flower-vine wall decals
Lovely, but decals need wall permission and patience, and restaurants rarely allow adhesive. The hanging garlands achieve the same "flowers climbing the wall" effect with zero risk. Skip unless the venue explicitly blesses it.
Clear "BABY" balloon boxes with pink balloons
This is the definition of the trope you asked to avoid — pink, rose gold, and letters in boxes. It would fight the bistro interior instantly.
All burlap banners ("Welcome Baby," "Baby in Bloom," "oh baby")
Burlap says rustic barn; your venue says Parisian bistro. The sentiment survives in the pastel letter garland — the burlap doesn't need to.
Bright rainbow "WELCOME BABY" bunting
Reads children's-birthday rather than elevated brunch. The colorful itch is scratched by flowers and the felt daisies instead.
Mylar balloon bouquets (giraffe / teddy bear) & pink-gold balloon kit
Foil balloons + safari/teddy themes pull the room straight to "party city," and the blush/rose-gold latex kit is the pink cliché. Your budget works harder in flowers.
"It's a Girl" pink cake bunting & pom-pom toppers
The pink ombré "It's a Girl" is trope central. Pom-poms are cute but casual — save them for a first birthday. The paper bouquet topper wins.
Floral fabric pennant buntings (vintage purple / muslin earth tones)
Pretty on their own, but pennant + floral print reads cottage tea party, and the muslin set's terracotta/mustard palette belongs to a different party. One garland language only.
04 — The RoomLayout & flow
The room is long and narrow with a bar at the back and a gorgeous full-length wood ledge running down one wall. Rearrange the bistro tables into two long banquet rows — communal seating is warmer for a shower, and it turns 12 small tables into 2 grand ones.
The brunch tables
Push the marble bistro tables end-to-end into two rows of 12–15. The black marble is striking — don't fully cover it. Run a soft cream cheesecloth/gauze runner loosely down the center (drape, don't iron), then cluster bud vases in threes every 2 feet along it, with butter-yellow taper or votive candles between clusters. Mixed white bentwood + blue rattan chairs alternate naturally — no chair covers, ever.
The photo ledge
The wall-length wooden ledge is your free showpiece. Line it with baby photos of the parents-to-be (mix thrifted brass + white frames), interleaved with leftover bud vases and votives, and run the pastel stars-and-hearts garland strand loosely along its length. Guests will drift down it like a gallery. This is the "personal touches" area — no extra table needed.
05 — The FlowersA meadow in bud vases — no florist required
The whole floral scheme is single stems and small clusters — the most forgiving arranging there is. If a stem can stand up in a bottle, you've succeeded. Around 30 bud vases + two larger statement arrangements, all from grocery-store and market flowers.

Bud-vase meadow (×26 vases)
- Daisies / chamomile — the workhorse, ~2 bunches
- Ranunculus or spray roses — blush + butter, ~2 bunches
- Delphinium or veronica — the cornflower blue, 1 bunch
- Stock or snapdragons — lavender, 1 bunch
- Solidago or billy balls — yellow pop, 1 bunch

Statement arrangement (×2)
- Use a pitcher, footed bowl, or wide vase

- Filler clouds last; one stem should escape sideways — that's the charm

Same design at both levels — the extra $300 doesn't add more stuff, it upgrades the things guests actually touch and photograph: flowers, linens, candlelight, and signage.
